Housing Choice Vouchers (Formerly known as Section 8)

The Adams Housing Authority administers up to 98 vouchers throughout Berkshire County. This voucher is for apartments owned by private landlords throughout the community. You may apply online to be on the HCV waiting list.

MRVP (Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program)

MRVP is a state program offering rental assistance in the form of vouchers to low-income families (similar to Section 8). The vouchers take 2 forms: tenant-based (mobile) or project-based. You may apply online for MRVP or paper applications may be picked up at Adams Housing Authority main office during normal business hours.
